Bicycle is a very convenient transport for sightseeing in Budapest as there are plenty of bicycle lanes and routes in the city, with the longest one stretching on the Buda side from Petõfi Bridge to Szentendre town in outskirts of Budapest. Cycling is not allowed in pedestrian Váci utca.

In summer months you can also rent a bike on the Margit Island (100 meters to your left from the entrance).

The companies listed below offer bikes for rent for a few hours or days, as well as multilingual bike tours.
