Budapest is full of eating places for all tastes, from chic restaurants to small eateries. In this section we give a selection of restaurants and cafes, including their cuisine and specialties, and also provide our comments on some places.
Please note that some restaurants are closed in the daytime and open from 6-7 p.m. only to serve dinner.
Most restaurants usually stop serving food an hour before closing and do not serve it one hour or so after they are open.
Service is sometimes is included in the bill, so check the bill please before paying.
