Permanent exhibitions include Hungarian Coronation Insignia, history of Hungary from 1000 to the 20th century.

The building was designed as a museum, and built in 1837-1847. Now it is kept in very good condition.

Among exhibits of the museum are crockery, musical instruments, clothing, arms, jewelry, etc. In respective halls there is a good collection of propaganda placards of WWI.

On the entrance there are free museum booklets in different languages.

Handicapped visitors are recommended to use the side entrance on Bródy Sándor utca.
