Bastille Day in Budapest

On July 11th, 2009 French Institute in Budapest (I. Fő utca 17) and French Trade Office celebrate Bastille Day and all things French.

This annual street festival and market that takes place on Bem rakpart along the Danube on Buda side is a mixture of music, wines, foods and fun.

This year the visitors will be offered wines from Aquitaine, Bordeaux and Champagne-Ardennes regions, and such French delicacies as goose liver and cheeses.

Music part of the program is taken care of by French band Valiumvalse and Hungarians Attila Bardóczi, Zoltán Orosz Trio and DJ Palotai.

Sport lovers may take part in various activities in the Decathlon courts (from 11:00) under the guidance of professional athletes.

The festivities will end at night with the fireworks.
