On 1st September, 2005 BKV, Budapest public transport company, launched new night bus routes. The new routes are more extensive, comparing to the old ones, and cover almost the whole city, so now one can easily reach the downtown in the night hours and enjoy the city night life. To protect the BKV property from the homeless, in some of the buses there are security guards wearing yellow vests.
