Marilyn Strip Club
Dont go to this club, the staf and, bouncers have one thing in mind. to rob you for all youve got and they dont care how they go about it. i was threatened with violence and they wouldnt allow me to leave untill i paid 300 pounds for 1 drink and a bottle of wine.
when was this? we are due to go soon - what dangers are around?

i lived in budapest for nearly 14years, and while the rip offs do happen, this is the 1 place i not only recommended, but also took my friends to.if you know how to behave, then this is the place for you, and when i say behave ,i dont mean like yer in a church, just resepct the girls,if they say no to somethin , accept it. just 1 piece of advice for any bar in budapest, do not have a tab, pay for each round as you get it, and dont forget the 10% tip, it helps you get served a lot quicker, if you really like her 25% all night is usually enough to get a date
I can only recommend this bar. It is an absolute highlight. All prices listed on the website is what you actually pay. As long as you behave normal, don't touch girls if they don't want to, don't be too drunk you will have loads of fun there.
It is one of the feww bars left in Budapest which is not a ripoff

If you look and act like a twat you become a target. Treat the bouncers with respect, say hello and smile. Don't buy the girls a drink unless you want to pay well over the odds - Pay for what you order at the time and treat the girls with respect - These girls work there in order to earn money by choice and in doing so pay the owners of the club a commission. Ask for the price before you go larging it and showing off... otherwise expect a lot of twat tax to be added. That's the way of the world.

It was amazing!! No meatheads at the door. Girls do not hassle you.They come over and sit with you, on your laps and join in with your group. Just have a laugh. They may ask one every half an hour or so to have a table dance (5000fts) (£18) and unlike someone else said, you can touch! Or they may ask you if you want a private dance. (10,000fts) (£36). And you can do ALOT!!
As people said, respect the girls, they are really nice.
Get to know them and you will get more out of it! You can have a laugh, joke, mess around, get drunk and as long as nobody really oversteps the mark then there will be no trouble.
Beer on draught is nice and cheap enough, as people have said buy a round, but pay right away (at any bar in Budapest).
Make requests if you have any, they enjoy something different!!
Avoid all other Budaapest strip clubs apart from maybe 4play. Have fun!!

Marilyn's is the safest dance bar in Budapest.. now... What kind of wine was consumed?.. they do have Don Perignon on the list... and of course the price will be extremely steep!..
They do not charge an entry, it is truly free entry but yet more importantly.. it is free exit..you can get beers at 1200ft.. same for a coke.. the table dances are $25 bucks 5000 ft.. this is the places where all the young sex crazed football fans end up with barely 50 bucks in their pockets..
this place fills out every weekend night with Stag parties and the place gets so crowded sometimes .. you'd think you are in a disco!... not the ususal velvet covered lounges with 3 poor preys (you) and 15 girls harrassing you for a champagne glass under the watchful eye of three or four bouncers rubbing their fists...
Marilyn is where the locals go.. and that says it all..
respect the girls limits and drink within your budget... As far as limits.. drunken guy's will jump in with the girl in the shower show..
This is one great place to have a bachelor's party..

Very sweet girl's and great dancers. But bad service from staff!!
Nice club, nice girls, nice friendly atmosphere and not a ripoff joint unlike the other rip-off joints in Budapest. Similar to U.S. strip clubs except that the girls on stage don't strip, which leads to a strange situation; when one of the girls does a table dance which is full nudity, all heads turn to watch the table dance and nobody watches the stage. It's a little strange as the dancing girls don't take away tips. Table dance is 6K Ft. with no touching allowed, private dance is 12K Ft. with touching everywhere.
The girls also offer FS at your hotel for 25K Ft. per hour which is very steep ( I've seen 2 FL so far and paid one 25K for 2 hours and the other 30K for 2 hours). The only thing that bothered me abou this place is that within 2 minutes of walking in, I was aproached by 3 different girls asking me to buy them champagne which goes for 9K.
Conveniently located near Museum area and easily accessible by public transportation- metro stop Kalvin on blue line) is 50 meters away.

I can't believe some of the rubbish written below. I have been here twice in 4 years, the second just this weekend. Four years ago 5 of us, mature sensible guys spent 5 hours at stage drinking continually and enjoying the girls and the bills was £65. This Thirsday three of us, including a local, entered at 11pm sat down and were immediately offered a fantastic selection of some of the best looking totty I've seen in years. WE were made very welcome. Half a bottle of champgnae for my girl cost £7k and after a while we went off to my hotel for 30k forints and two hours of fabuous sex. My mate had a downstairs 12k session and wished he had done what I did but meanwhile enjoyed several other peoples' 6k table dances for free whilst waiting for me to return.
This is a top class establishment and the girsl are top notch.
I was taken there three years ago and must agree with tony, this is a club where you feel safe, I went back on my own the next night.
the girls are super,great table top and the down stairs lap top dance was out of this world, plenty of touch, fantastic place, i would recomend it.
obviously some people don't know how to behave.
If I ever return to Budapest, it will be top of the list of places to revisit.

Marylins in Budapest is one of the most trustworthy nightclubs in town. You don't pay entrance, the fees for drinks are fair and there are no hidden costs.
I went last night to this marylin strip cluib with a friend of mine and we were absolutely amazed by this place. Don t miss the opportunity to visitare the unique and only strip club in the world where the strippers actually don t strip but remain completely dressed on stage. The attitude of the dancers, moreover, is something you shouldn t miss for any reason in the world: half way between the world outlook of a semi-slave russian peasant of 17th century siberia and the friendliness of a 1950 bulgarian bureaucrat (and that is also valid for the phisical appearance). Another strong point of this place is that, for some of the girls that share more these characters, you can take them to your hotel, too....for the modest price of 45 thousand forint (that is, approx 200 euro, which is really cheap) they will come to your hotel and have sex. Please, if you pass in Budapest dont miss your chance of going to Marylin Strip Club. You will be able to tell your grandchildren something unique.
I went there this easter weekend with a friend of mine. When we arrived, we entered this club. As the only two guys under around 15 very beautiful woman's you feel like in afterlife. The one of my choose was not only hot, even more cute!

Absolutly no way that any Hungarian girl will give you a hand job in one of the strip clubs except if you pay for it extra. In trustworthy clubs in Budapest you may not even tough the girl unless she really wants it. If and how she touches you is up to her. But be prepared if you touch her you will get escorted out of the club for sure.
This table dance club is amazing. It's not a rip off at all, you only pay what you choose to pay just behave and be nice to the girls. Also, be read to spend at least a 100 euros if you are going for something like a lesbian show plus a couple of drinks. Prices are listed in a menu given before you think of ordering. Enjoy your night in one of the safest strip clubs in Budapest.
We must have been to 20 strip clubs, most tried to rip you off but we were clever, went with 30 people 25 of which waited outside for the OK, if they didn't get it they came in to get us, with 30 guys they soon let you leave.
But Marilyn's was a dream, drinks aren't cheap for Budapest but they are for what you are getting, Girls are great and absolutely beautiful, if you go, GO HERE.

This place is 100% correct. You will be approached by a lady, but you can refuse it. If you offer a ladies dring, you can of course chat with her and flirt a little bit; of course she will push to go to private, but this is the game.
I have always be very satisfied with this club.
I'm not a strip bar goer but I can definitely tell that this is a very good place with nice girls (some of them are even amazing), reasonable prices and very friendly and helpful staff. What else do you need?! They do not cheat or try to rip you off - you just pay whatever is written or agreed in prior. Some girls are also available to have sex (you need to discuss price with the girl). So, to conclude, Marilyn Bar - Highly Recommended!
I love this club! I popped in here with some stag party guys I met at the Irish Cat Pub across the street (great place to meet women, their website is at www.irishcat.hu). I previously tried 4play but was put off by the drink hustle, which was constant there... and the girls were not very sweet, either.
But Marilyn... I have never been in a strip club so relaxed. The prices were a bit higher than a normal pub, but nowhere near what other places were demanding. The girls were friendly, more than friendly, and not on the make for off-work earnings. There were a few pros in the place not dancing, but they were not aggressive and were also quite polite (and pretty). The (also quite polite) bouncers said the escorts were not employees but were considered reputable and therefore they were tolerated.
Marilyn was my home for 6 hours, and I got away spending about $100 in forints. For that, I received a lap dance, a good buzz, had a girl ask another one if she could sit with me instead, then sit on my lap. Wew flirted all night. When I came back in for my gloves the next day (left behind) she gave me a little peck on each cheek and told me where she spends her time off the job so we could meet. We did!
They took good care of us. I ran a tab and did not get burned. Whatever the obvious Hungarian guy posting about this place being a ripoff wants to say, this was a good time and a safe place near the hotels downtown. I recommend it highly.
