Airport Minibus:

Tickets can be purchased in the Arrival Hall at the Airport Minibus counter. Airport Minibus counters are open daily from 05.00 until 01.00.
The Airport Minibus leaves every 15-30 minutes from the airport and will take you to any destination within Budapest for about 3000 HUF (if you know your departure day you can purchase return ticket for about 4500 HUF).

Bus:

There is also bus No. 93, which is cheaper than Airport Minibus. When exiting the airport, turn to the right from Terminal A, or left from Terminal B, to find the bus stop that says BKV Plusz Reptér busz. The bus stops at the airport every 15 minutes, from 04:55 to 23:20, and goes to Kőbánya-Kispest metro station (M3, blue line).

Taxi:

There are two driveways in front of the Arrival Hall. The first is for Airport Minibus and tourist taxis, and the second is for preordered taxis.

Tourist taxis are more expensive than preordered taxis (trip to the city will cost you about 5500 HUF depending on your destination in Budapest), but you don’t have to wait for them, they are always there to pick you up.

You can also order a taxi by phone and it will arrive in 5-10 minutes. In this case the trip to Budapest will cost you 3500 HUF if your destination is in Pest, and 4500 HUF if your destination is in Buda.
