Shops: Antiques

Please note, that antiques more than 50 years old require a permission from Cultural Inheritance Office to leave the country. Prior to obtaining such permission you have to have the antique valuated by an expert, and you must bring either antique itself or five photos of it. Cost of the valuation is usually a percentage of antique’s price. It may take up to three weeks to valuate the antique and get the permission.

Not very expensive antique shop full of seemingly useless stuff among which you, however, may find some “diamonds” (or “pearls”). We have found in this shop a telephone switchboard that was surely used by James Bond in “Goldfinger”, or at least it looks like the one.
