Night Life: Gay and Lesbian
On the one hand gay culture in Budapest seems to be somewhat immature, but on the other hand one can find here real action places that are packed with gays from all over the world.

Ösztrosokk is a lesbian party, women only, held every month's last saturday from 10 pm at Living Room (V. Kossuth L. u. 17.).
Mixed (but mostly gay) club plus restaurant. Drag queen shows, live singing and dance shows every day at midnight. Two dance floors. Special parties on holidays. Minimum consumption is 1300 HUF.

There are 2 bars: the one upstairs is just ordinary one with Internet, while the bar downstairs is for gays only. Average prices and decent choice of drinks. Minimum consumption is 1000 HUF. There are thematic cabins (cage, bedroom, bathroom, torture room), chill out zone, video room. Very friendly staff. The place is crowded with locals and tourists.

Gay bar (men only). Darkroom, rent boys. Friendly bartenders speak English, German and French, but you almost can’t see their faces as it’s very dark in the bar.
