BudapestIndex.com Navigation and Technologies

Site Sections
BudapestIndex.com is divided into five sections:

City Info (general info, embassies, travel agencies, emergency numbers, tourist and expat info, etc.).

Going Out (restaurants, cafes, bars, sightseeing, museums, cinemas, etc.).

Shopping (shops, shopping malls, markets, delivery, services).

Communications (telephone, internet, providers, etc.).

Transport (public, taxi, rent a car, bicycle, automobile, etc.).

Within each of these sections you can access even more detailed information by using right-side menu and certain features.

You can also see photos of Budapest in the Gallery and read editors’ blogs.

Addresses and Telephone Numbers
In the address "V. Sütõ u. 2", the Roman numeral V stands for District V., "Sütõ u." means Sütõ street (u. is short for utca = street) and 2 is the house number.

The telephone numbers appear on the site without country and city code. See Dialing Rules to learn how to dial numbers from landline, public and mobile phones.

Please note, that telephone prefix 40 means that you pay only half of the fee, and prefix 80 means that your call is toll-free.
