We strongly recommend you to see the interior of the Opera House designed by Miklós Ybl and completed in 1884. Inside decorations are superb and lavish, they strike. The ceiling in the main auditorium where hangs a three ton bronze chandelier was frescoed by Károly Lotz.

This traditional Austrian café used to be better a couple of years ago. Now the cakes are a bit synthetic, and so is the coffee. The waiters are sleepy and slow. But it is packed anyway as in good old days.
