Klauzál tér is the central square of 7th (Jewish) district of Budapest. It is a park and playground where locals walk their dogs and relax.

At one end of the square there is an old market hall built in 1897 that now houses a supermarket. Around this square you will find many small bars, Jewish cafes and restaurants, and so called "kerts" – summer pubs located in the inner yards of derelict buildings.

Former socialist artists' club, with the restaurant, shadowy summer terrace in the inner court and bar in the cellar. Decadence at its best with peeling paint, shabby and dusty interiors. Concerts on some nights in their skunky basement that often stays crowded till dawn with heavily drinking intellectuals.
