Drivers are to pay entrance fee when entering the Castle District in Buda.

There is no entry for vehicles to Margaret Island (Margit Sziget) from Margaret Bridge (Margit híd). Passenger vehicles may enter from Árpád Bridge, but only to the hotels' parking lots.

Driving is restricted in Óbudai Island, Római part, Népliget and Városliget.

There are also few pedestrian zones in the downtown (Váci utca).
