Excellent Thai

My wife and I lived in Budapest for two years, and visited this restaurant (if it's the small cafe-like place I'm thinking of) at least once a week during that time. Not the very finest food you'll eat, but good and tasty, decent portions, very cheap and very friendly. And all this on Vaci Utca too! Highly recommended.

This is not a Thai place

This is not a Thai place anymore but a very boring tourist dump. Don’t go there.

Kindness costs dearly!

22nd December 2012. we were in Budapest and came to Pattaya cafe, where we had lunch.
Served us by two nice girls but it turned out that we have to pay dearly!
We ate goulash with pasta, drank two juices, and that cost us 9040 Ft. They miscalculated the amount in euros - 39.30, although the rate of exchange was 1euro = 285Ft! At that point we did not know the course, we even leave a change!!!
Never again Pattaya café - tourists, watch out!
