Öböl XI is the new recreational area, built in the Lágymányosi bay in XI district of Budapest.
It is located to the the right side of Lágymányosi bridge in Buda.
Öböl XI is the home to a public port for passenger ships on the River Danube, and also a vast park with 14 pavilions, cafes, lawns and playgrounds.
It is a great place for family outings, picnics, jogging and relaxing with a view of the river.

this post is a little
this post is a little misleading. the park is very nice and quite popular on weekends, but it is still somewhat under development as there are lots of buildings for cafes, but the last time I was there (end of april 2010) only one actually had a cafe in it.
presumably there are more to come, but i think this post should have mentioned that fact.
