National Birthday

20th of August is a big day for Hungarians, day of Saint Stephen who created this country. It is a national holiday with extensive programs all over the country with the biggest celebrations in Budapest.

This year the celebrations start on August 19th with the Saint Stephen - The Birth of a State Historical Gala at 21:00 at Kossuth Lajos tér (Parliament).
